The Internet and its social networks are being used increasingly as tools to disseminate prejudice and stereo-
types. Once again in Facebook we find several interest groups with strong and unfavourable ideas and opinions
against people of the Roma ethnic group who are widely misunderstood.

The same story was published in Catalan by a local newspaper in Sabadell under the same headline “Two thirds
of the Roma population live below the poverty line.”
